BRENTWOOD CHRISTMAS LIGHTS EVENT

On Saturday 29th November, Gloria Hunniford will join the Mayor of Brentwood, Councillor Dudley Payne to switch on the lights that mark the start of the festive season.

The High Street will close to traffic from 11am to make way for a packed programme of activities including live music and theatrical performances, local school and church choirs, brass bands, children’s shows and an ice-sculptor. Traditional streetentertainers including stilt walkers, jugglers, balloon modellers and magicians will wander amongst the crowds throughout the celebrations and a special area will provide face painting, musical rides, catering and entertainment for younger children.
